Play more enjoyable and consistent golf by setting your expectations based on your handicap or average scores.
Live Scorecard is perfect for novice and experiences golfers who want to play more consistent golf. Set your score based on your handicap or your average score. The scorecard will adjust your goal based on your handicap. Now you will be playing like the pros, monitoring you score based on if you are plus or minus your goal from hole to hole. From that point forward you play +/- your goal for each nine and try to beat your set average score. As you play you many notice some par 5 where you can gain 2 strokes if you par it and remain even if you double bogie. Finish under your goal and get rewarded with a badge and fireworks!!! On those risk vs reward par 5s you may want to play a little more conservative and eliminate the penalty stokes for a bogie that will still give you a stoke and not loose stokes.
Once you have finished and saved your round you can go back and look at the scorecard in history and see how you did with birdies, pars, bogies, double bogies, triple bogies and quadruple bogies. This will help you evaluate your round and start to work on reducing the double or more bogies per round to be a more consistent golfer.
No more starting a round of golf and not knowing your score or how you are doing until the 9th hole and then again at the 18th hole. Now you will know after you enter your first hole where you are expected to score based on your goal. Set your goal to 93 and first hole you are +1 your final score calculation is 94. You now have another 17 holes to turn that around and shoot less than 93 with a couple of pars. No more bad front 9 and expected bad back 9. Monitor each 9 as you play toward your overall score and turn your round around if you have a tough front 9. Dont let it continue on and ruin your whole round.
Before you know it you will be playing more consistent golf. Every once in a while you may want to challenge yourself and drop your average score by a few strokes and see if you can cut a few extra strokes off of your game. Although, this is fun to try once in a while, the preferred and less frustrating way is to set you average score a little above average and shoot under goal.
